Linda Booker

- B.S. in Physical Education and Business Education from Central Michigan University in 1980
- Member of the Ethnic/Social Dance Troupe for four years under the leadership of Professor Carol Howard
- Started teaching Folk, Social and Swing Dance at Hope College in 1985
- Currently teaching physical education for West Ottawa Schools and have taught there for 15 years. Teaches Adaptive PE Classes for special education students grades K-12 and also regular high school PE elective classes in Fitness and Dance.
- Master’s Degree in Special Physical Education from Western Michigan University in 2003
- Recreational dance teacher for the community; teaching folk, line, square and ballroom dance for churches, schools and Hope College
- Actively taking classes in the community to further my depth in ballroom and ethnic dance
And . . . . . I have three children and a husband which really should be at the top of this list since it is the most important thing I do! My dad was a square dance caller so I was his shadow and just learned everything from him!!!
